It is me, Kelsey!

I am 33 years old and until I was pregnant with my son I never had to worry about my weight. I gained 80lbs when I was pregnant. I suffered with uncontrollable nausea, knee pain, hip pain, I wasn’t active. I let my body go. Post pregnancy, I struggled to get the weight off and it was hard to even vacuum the floor or do normal house hold chores.

I started with Shaun T workout videos, tried to lose weight through just cardio. Eat very little. Then have my Sunday CHEAT DAY every week and wondered why I would never lose weight.

Then I found strength training. It changed my body, I started to fuel myself properly through food. My back pain/hip pain/knee pain all started to get better. I felt stronger. I was able to lose 30lbs and at my lowest 118lbs. Years went by and I would diet for 3 months, then eat more for 3 months, and then back to the diet.

I never stuck to something because once the scale creeped up I got scared and went back to a deficit. In 2020, I was sick of looking the same, just a smaller version of myself and committed to eating more, fixing my relationship with food, fixing my night eating binges, went to therapy, gained 18lbs.

Now in 2023, I am 130lbs, stronger than ever, pain free, binge free, and better yet I love my body for what it can do not for what it looks like.

Through this in 2020 I started helping people through Instagram for free. Then I started doing macro consults for people for a small price. In 2022, I got my NASM CPT certification and now have been coaching for over 3 years. I find the joy through my clients and how happy they feel eating more, chasing strong, and living a balanced lifestyle that their kids and family and friends can watch.

I strive to chase strong, fuel your body through food, living that 80/20 lifestyle, and finding a way that anyone can make this a lifestyle vs a stop and start journey. As I get older, I feel younger. When I am 90 years old I will be happy to be able to get off the toilet by myself or get out of my own bed without help.
